State of the art technology for toning, tightening, improving skin
tone and super-cleansing the skin..great for lost elasticity or thinning skin.

  • Promotes Collagen Production
  • Tightens the skin Tissue

  • Treats acne, Rosacea, Melasma, and fine lines
  • Sterilizes the Skin
  • Treats Acne, Rosacea,Melasma & Finer Lines
Plasma technology was first introduced in 1998 and is used for the treatment of wrinkles, rhytids, furrows, acne, acne scars, hyper-pigmentation, rosacea, and melasma.

This new procedure has recently received coverage in some of the top women's magazines including
           "W", Alure and Marie Claire.

                                Before                          After
Plasma technology has been the subject of numerous clinical studies since 1995, and in December of 2001 was the subject of a favorable report in the prestigious scientific journal Applied Physics Letters.
A new five-minute, particle-free facial treatment is being introduced as the fastest gentlest method of toning, tightening, improving the skin tone, and super-cleansing the skin - for about the price of a nice dinner.
The Plasma-Ablation procedure is a controlled non-heat driven process. The technology combines bipolar radio frequency energy with natural saline solution, similar to the type used to rinse contact lenses, through the use of a Wand. When the saline solution comes in contact with the electrodes at the tip of the Wand, the ions in the saline become highly energized and form a "plasma" field. The treatment works differently than lasers, which vaporize skin cells, or chemical peels, which utilize acid to burn skin cells. The plasma field created by the Plasma-Ablation wand causes skin cells to dissociate from each other at a molecular level.
When quickly brushed across the face, the wand is intended to tone, tighten and super-cleanse the skin - creating a refreshed, enhanced appearance. The gentle, non-invasive treatment exfoliates and pushes the plasma field into the epidermis to create a healing response. Since the plasma field created by the Plasma-Ablation Wand has also been shown to be highly antibacterial, the treatment is beneficial in helping acne as well. The entire treatment is typically performed in five to eight minutes.
According to various technicians, best results have been obtained in clients who have had sun damaged or have rough textured skin. Many clients have commented that their skin has a softer texture and that their skin appearance has improved. There has also been a resolution of acne." According to Sarah Obican of Boca Raton, FL, "the Visage Plasma-Ablation leaves patients with a smooth, nice texture. The treatment works very well on patients who have already had microdermabrasion."
Plasma-Ablation facial treatments are being offered as an alternative to traditional microdermabrasion.
How the Plasma-Ablation Differs from Microdermabrasion?
Although both the Plasma-Ablation and microdermabrasion improve skin clarity, texture, appearance and oiliness, their methods of treatment differ. Microdermabrasion propels micro crystals at high speed across the skin’s surface to remove the superficial skin layers and simultaneously suctions the resulting debris. Plasma-Ablation works in a less invasive manner not by removing superficial skin layers but rather by pushing the plasma field generated by the wand into the epidermis. The Plasma-Ablation treatment is quick -- typically taking 5-8 minutes for a treatment. Generally, microdermabrasion treatments take about five times longer. Besides the tremendous speed of the procedure, plasma micro-ablation does not imbed crystals into the skin or dehydrate the tissue. Just as importantly, the equipment does not have the clogging or breakdown issues that crystal machines have. Lastly, with Plasma-Ablation technology there is no risk of cross contamination between clients as the wands are enveloped in a sterilizing plasma field.
Doug Shadell of Fort Smith, AR contributes that "patients have less irritation of the skin after Visage Plasma-Ablation than microdermabrasion. Patients have reported that they like Plasma-Ablation better - except for the wetness of the procedure. They feel like something was done to their skin compared to the typical feedback from microdermabrasion."
Most patients find that the results are similar to but more aggressive than microdermabrasion. However, some patients have found that with the Plasma-Ablation, their face is softer and smoother than with microdermabrasion.

While the treatment is not cosmetic surgery, it is based on the same patented, low temperature
radio wave technology that, since 1998 has been used successfully to treat plastic surgery
patients. This procedure is being offered in place of traditional microdermabrasion. The procedure produces incredible results, often with a noticeable change in one treatment, with no irritation and no down time. Positive feedback was received from clients stating that the Plasma Ablation treated side of the face felt "softer and smoother" than the microdermabrasion side and that the Plasma Ablation cleared up acne and scarring with fewer treatments compared to microdermabrasion. Also, numerous clients commented that it was much easier to apply make-up on the side of their face treated with Micro Ablation. Clients noted overall improvement in ratings for skin texture, appearance, clarity and oiliness and expressed a strong preference for the Plasma Ablation compare to traditional microdermabrasion. The Plasma Ablation procedure is a controlled low- heat process. The technology combines bipolar radio frequency energy with natural saline solution. When the saline solution comes in contact with the electrode wand, the ions in the saline become highly energized and form a "plasma" field. Plasma technology causes skin cells to dissociate from each other at a molecular level. The gentle, non-invasive treatment does not remove the epidermis, but rather pushes the plasma field into the epidermis to create a healing response. It is not unusual to have brown spots appear 40-50% lighter in one treatment, eyelid and neck tissue is noticeably tighter, rosecea is calmer, and skin is hydrated. The advantage of treatment on the cellular level is that substantial results are achieved with NO TRAUMA caused to the skin, unlike ablative lasers which vaporize skin cells, or chemical peels which utilize acid to burn the skin cells, or microdermabrasion which is painful, imbeds crystals into the skin, dehydrates the tissue, often breaks capillaries and creates redness.
